A two-tiered story that intertwines expertly. From the covert organisation wiping out enemies to society to the frantic hunt for kidnapped children by CID, the story wends its way towards an ending that I did not see coming. This is one for fans of detective stories and action; it fits nicely into both camps. The kidnappers are just creepy. Kept me hooked from the first page. Good job.

On the one hand, there are people who dress up like animals in order to steal children. On the other, there are trained assassins who have decided to carry out their own retribution program. Will they find each other? Well, it's all intertwined by the end, and this author has a great style.

Hush Little Children is the interesting story of a group of people who are kidnapping young children. I was fascinated from the start by this interesting , well written book .I kept wondering what's going to happen next? Who are these strange kidnappers? Why are they dressing up in animal costumes to steal children? Will justice prevail? As one progresses through the book the answers are slowly and cleverly revealed. This ia a very satisfying, good read.

A strong powerful read that keeps you on the edge of your seat as you, gasp, and then hold your breath during certain passages of this very well written book. Not my usual genre, but the book held me in it's grip throughout. If you love a good crime thriller with unexpected twists and turns, this is probably the book for you. Highly recommended!

I enjoy reading stories by authors that create not “just another story,” but a tapestry of events that pulls me into the tale, and makes me pay attention to every detail. Hulse has that ability. He wastes no time in getting this plot moving. I pride myself on my ability to know what comes next. However, on more than one occasion, this author proved me wrong in Pursuit of Angels. In this story, I witnessed brutal and despicable evil in its purest form. Hulse is a brilliant portrayer of how one person can inflict indecent and humiliating physical and mental torment on another.
I bought his book because I wanted an action story interspersed with horror that would curl my toes, and I am NOT disappointed after reading Pursuit of Angels. I have read other books by this author, and shall read more. That is, as soon as I catch my breath. Well done, Mr. Hulse.

The “Pursuit of Angels” is a chilling tale of women disappearing and the two men (a disgraced detective and a former journalist) who are hired to find them by the wealthy mother of one of the missing young women. Although dark in content, the story is skillfully executed, keeping the reader hopeful that the missing will be found and the culprit brought to justice. It will keep you guessing until the end, and Anthony Hulse packs the book full of realistic characters and emotions. Well done!
